They can meet with a counselor or school psychologist virtually during school hours to discuss current life situations that may be impacting their overall functioning. Students complete the Virtual Compassion Corner form specific to their school (MVA) to notify a school mental health professional they are seeking help. Once the form is submitted, the student receives a confirmation notice and email that contain an appointment link. They can choose to set up a 20 minute phone call or zoom meeting during school hours. If the student does not sign up immediately, a school mental health professional will reach out to the student directly and check in. Questions? Please contact Lindsey Kucich, lindsey.kucich@missionvistaacademy.org.
