Student Email Addresses through Mission Vista Academy

As you may have noticed in the Student Information System all students now have a school email account. Here are some facts about the accounts:

  • Disclaimer: No expectation of privacy should be held when using an email address or South school technology.
  • All students have a school Google account through South School. These accounts allow the Tech Department to do the following:
    • Manage school devices, assigning licenses for software etc.
  • 23-24 Update for Student Emails

NOW LIVE - Student-to-Student Email Blocking

Going forward students will not be able to email each other using their school email accounts. This change is being implemented to avoid any inappropriate messaging/bullying between students.

Blocked emails will be quarantined to the moderation section of Google and students will not get any notifications that their emails have been blocked or not received.

Students will still be able to email/receive their teachers, school staff, curriculum, and any other emails without any issues.

These accounts can be used to sign up for school related items such as the free Microsoft account following the guidelines in the AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) outlined in the Parent & Student Handbook.
