Conflict of Interest Policy

Please take note of the Conflict of Interest policy while approving orders.

Educational Vendors are not able to be employed by Mission Vista Academy in any capacity.

Educational Vendors cannot provide services to any Mission Vista Academy family to whom they are related or otherwise presents a conflict of interest concern.

• Mission Vista Academy is unable to approve services for a vendor if the student’s family member is employed by and/or affiliated with the vendor.
• As the student’s Homeschool Teacher, you may not approve student service order requests for a vendor if the student’s family member(s) has a vested interest in that vendor.
  • Example of paid vested interest: Employee, Contractor
  • Examples of unpaid vested interest: Board Member, Founder
